Job Description & How to Apply Below

  • Relocation assistance available for candidates committing to a full school year on campus

You’ve dedicated years to coaching young people - not instructing them in a traditional sense. You understand the distinction: coaching means connecting with students, pushing their limits, and refusing to accept anything less than their full potential. Instruction is about delivering material. You’ve never seen yourself as a content-delivery mechanism.

Alpha operates one of the most nontraditional schools in existence. Students don't occupy rows of desks listening to lectures. They progress through AI-driven learning platforms independently. The AI manages instructional delivery. Your responsibility is facilitating life skills workshops that captivate K-8 students, leading motivation sessions that drive them toward weekly learning targets, and maintaining standards when students attempt to disengage. Academic progress is automated.

You manage the human dimension.

This position offers meaningful upward trajectory, and that trajectory is measured by student impact. Guides who consistently achieve performance benchmarks (100% cohort completion of weekly app targets, satisfaction ratings above 90%) advance to Lead Guide positions where they develop other educators' coaching capabilities. Students remain the central focus.

If your motivation for career change centers on mission - transforming students' self-perception - rather than credential-building,

What You Will Be Doing
  • Facilitating one-hour life skills workshops for K-8 students addressing topics including public speaking, concentration, and feedback exchange
  • Administering Test2

Pass mastery assessments following each workshop to verify genuine skill acquisition rather than passive attendance
  • Conducting daily motivation sessions informed by student profiles, individual interests, and Coachbot analytics to achieve 100% cohort completion of weekly app progression goals
  • Leveraging narrative techniques, incentive structures (campus currency, performance leaderboards), and individual relationships to overcome student disengagement
  • Monitoring cohort satisfaction metrics with a 90%+ target on student feedback surveys
What You Won’t Be Doing
  • Presenting lectures at a whiteboard. Academic advancement occurs through self-directed AI-powered applications, not through direct instruction from you.
  • Passive supervision. The setting involves students using computers; the role demands active facilitation.
  • Compromising standards when students resist. Test2

Pass requirements remain consistent regardless of individual student circumstances during a given week.
  • Creating curriculum from the ground up. Workshop structures and lesson frameworks are supplied; your responsibility is executing them with the charisma and narrative skill that ensures student comprehension.
  • Handling parent communications, managing enrollment processes, or overseeing facility operations. Those functions belong to separate roles.
