You've spent years coaching young people — not just instructing them. You understand the distinction: coaching means building connection, issuing challenges, and holding students accountable to their potential. Instruction is content transfer. You've never seen yourself as a content delivery mechanism.
Alpha operates a school unlike any you've encountered. Students don't occupy rows listening to lectures. They progress through AI-driven learning applications individually. The AI manages instructional delivery. Your responsibility is facilitating life skills workshops that command the attention of K-8 students, conducting motivation sessions that drive them toward weekly learning targets, and maintaining standards when a student attempts to disengage. Academic progress is automated.
You manage the human dimension.
This position offers a meaningful growth trajectory, and that trajectory is expanded student impact. Educators who reliably achieve performance benchmarks (100% cohort achievement of weekly app targets, satisfaction ratings of 90% or higher) advance to Lead Guide positions, where they train other educators in this methodology. Students remain the focus.
The campus sits in Brownsville, adjacent to SpaceX's Starbase facility. If your motivation for leaving your current position is the mission — transforming a child's self-perception — rather than career positioning, submit your application.
What You Will Be Doing- Facilitating one-hour life skills workshops for K-8 students on topics including public speaking, concentration, and feedback exchange
- Administering Test2
Pass mastery assessments following each workshop to verify students have acquired the skill, not merely attended the session - Conducting daily motivation sessions that leverage student profiles, interests, and Coachbot analytics to ensure 100% of your cohort reaches weekly app progression goals
- Utilizing storytelling, incentive structures (school currency, leaderboards), and individual rapport to overcome student reluctance
- Monitoring cohort satisfaction ratings to maintain a 90%+ benchmark on student surveys
- Delivering traditional lectures at a whiteboard. Academic advancement occurs through self-directed AI-powered applications, not through your direct instruction.
- Supervising passive screen time. The computer-based setting is the environment; active student engagement is the function.
- Compromising standards when students resist. Test2
Pass benchmarks remain consistent, irrespective of individual student circumstances. - Creating original curriculum materials. Workshop frameworks and lesson plans are supplied; your role is executing them with the presence and narrative skill that ensures genuine student learning.
- Interfacing with parents, conducting admissions activities, or supervising campus logistics. Those responsibilities belong to other positions.
