Engineering Teacher – Career & Technical Education – Middle School Pool
Starting Date: Immediately
Job DescriptionThe Engineering Teacher is to provide instruction in the subject area of Science Technology, Engineering & Mathematics to secondary level students and is required to provide instructional services in a manner consistent with Board Policy and consistent with statutes and standards of regulatory agencies.
Required:- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Work experience in engineering field
- Valid State of Texas Certification in one of the following:
- Mathematics/Physical Science/Engineering:
Grades 6-12 - Mathematics/Physical Science/Engineering:
Grades 8-12 - Secondary Industrial Arts:
Grades 6-12 - Secondary Industrial Technology:
Grades 6-12 - Technology
Education:
Grades 6-12 - Trade and Industrial Certificate Grade 9-12 with emphasis in engineering
- Eligibility letter from an Alternative Certification Program
- Mathematics/Physical Science/Engineering:
- Experience in CNC programming, mechanical drawings, 3D printing and solid modeling, handling industrial robots, AC/DC circuits, pneumatics, Adobe products, computer systems and coding software.
