Lead Teller

Position Overview

At PNC, we value our people and strive for an inclusive workplace. As a Lead Teller at the Brownsville Elizabeth Street branch in Brownsville, Texas, you will drive customer experience and ensure high-quality operations.

Bilingual Spanish - Preferred

PNC is an in‑office company that fosters collaboration. Employees must work onsite. We do not sponsor employment visas or participate in STEM OPT.

• Coach, mentor, and lead tellers by example to deliver exceptional customer service, improve financial wellbeing, and create loyalty.
• Identify banking opportunities during interactions and make appropriate referrals to branch staff.
• Engage with customers in the lobby to promote PNC products and educate on available options.
• Maintain clear communication and problem‑resolution processes; assist the Branch Manager in performance management and new‑hire selection.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, ensuring accurate and efficient daily teller and branch operations.

• Required:
  
  1+ year related experience; high school diploma or GED acceptable; comparable combination of education, certification, and experience may be considered.
• Preferred:
  Bilingual Spanish; strong customer focus, risk management, coaching, and digital awareness skills.
• Preferred skills:
  Accountability, Banking, Client Loyalty, Customer Experience, Customer Service, Identifying Opportunities, Leveraging Technology, Proactive Sales.
• Competencies:
