Per Diem, Days

Responsible for the timely and efficient performance of selected Physical Rehabilitation duties as directed by and under the general supervision of a PT, PTA, OT, or COTA. Duties include dressing changes, donning/doffing orthopedic braces, transporting patients with various devices, organizing and maintaining equipment, managing inventory, scheduling and prioritizing patient workload, performing regular cleaning responsibilities, and working with patients from pediatric to geriatric levels.

Complete established competencies within the designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

• Prepare treatment areas for patient care, including hydrotherapy areas.
• Assist patients to prepare for treatment and transport them to and from the department.
• Assist therapists and assistants with patient care, maintain linen supplies and inventory of supplies.
• Ensure equipment performance prior to use and perform cleaning of the area and equipment as outlined in policy and procedure manual.

• Education: Required:
  High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred:
  Associate degree.
• Experience: Preferred: 6 months in a healthcare setting.
