Job Description & How to Apply Below

A growing energy operator is seeking a Senior Maintenance Scheduler to join its Planning & Scheduling team at a large, modern facility in Brownsville. This is a hands‑on, high‑visibility role at the center of day‑to‑day maintenance execution, with the chance to help shape how the scheduling function is built and run.

This is a maintenance scheduling position, not a turnaround or project scheduling role. Work is continuous, with no fixed start or end date. The Scheduler keeps that work moving by balancing a rolling backlog against a fixed pool of craft labor, ensuring the right work is done by the right people at the right time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and manage maintenance schedules for preventive, corrective and routine work, working in rolling one‑week blocks over a six‑week horizon
  • Extract and sequence work from SAP, balancing demand against available craft labor and batching work for efficiency
  • Screen work orders and confirm all work meets scheduling criteria before release
  • Review completed work, roll forward any outstanding items and keep the backlog under control
  • Partner with operations, reliability, engineering and the trades to minimize production impact
  • Prioritize work based on safety, criticality and operational impact
  • Report on schedule compliance, maintenance performance and KPIs
  • Contribute to the development of scheduling processes, procedures and CMMS optimization
Qualifications
  • Maintenance scheduling experience in oil and gas, LNG, petrochemical or a comparable process facility
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP (PM module and S/4 HANA a plus)
  • Solid understanding of maintenance execution and reliability practices
  • A trade background in instrumentation and controls, mechanical or electrical is highly regarded
  • Typically 5 to 10 years of relevant experience, with flexibility for the right candidate
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate across the crafts and adapt as priorities change
  • Eligibility for a TWIC card
  • Experience with Prometheus Scheduler, Primavera P6 or MS Project is beneficial
  • Turnaround experience is welcome but not essential

10+ Years work experience
