Tube Bender
Lead and support all tube bending work, ensuring parts progress smoothly through preparation, bending, inspection, and cleaning processes. Set up and operate tube-bending equipment to ensure parts are built accurately to specifications, troubleshooting any fit or production issues.
Responsibilities- Lead and support all tube bending work.
- Ensure smooth progression of parts through preparation, bending, inspection, and cleaning.
- Set up and operate tube-bending equipment to meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot fit or production issues.
- Proficiency with bending machines, including CNC systems.
- Experience with materials such as Inconel, titanium, aluminum, nickel, and stainless steel.
- Previous training in lean/continuous improvement tools.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and articulate work instructions.
- Knowledge of tube cleaning requirements for aerospace and orbital tube welding (OTW).
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with manual tubing benders and related equipment.
- Ability to set up and operate tube fabrication equipment.
- Must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
- Capability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. unassisted.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours.

Work EnvironmentWork is evenly split between indoor and outdoor settings, including work on the launch pad. Be prepared to operate in temperatures over 80 degrees for short periods.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brownsville, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.00 - $36.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
