Material Handler, Forklift Operator

The warehouse groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the warehouses clean and in order, audit ready.
- Observes all safety rules and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment and material handling.
- Follows all established Good Manufacturing Practices, maintaining an orderly and clean work area.
- Maintains forklifts by daily inspecting batteries, water levels, lights, horn, tires, mirrors, oil levels, backup beep indicators, etc.
- Verifies all deliveries and discrepancies by inspecting materials through physically counting and comparing the amount printed on the delivery receipt.
- Enters necessary documentation of delivery receipts or material handling into the company’s computer system.
- Organizes/rotates old materials with new.
- Housekeeping: daily removes/fixes any dirty, torn, hanging, broken wood, packaging, ingredients, etc.
- Assists management with inventory balances through physical cycle counts.
- Labels any open or partial ingredient and packaging.
- Checks production schedules daily to stage packaging and ingredients if needed.
- Performs all other warehouse and freezer duties.
- Must be able to operate all forklift equipment.
- Must be trained and recertified annually for the forklift license.
- Must be able to work in an extremely cold environment.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Observes all safety rules and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment and material handling.
- Follows all established Good Manufacturing Practices, maintaining an orderly and clean work area.
- Organizes/rotates old materials with new.
- Housekeeping: daily removes/fixes any dirty, torn, hanging, broken wood, packaging, ingredients, etc.
- Labels any open or partial ingredients and packaging.
- Maintains docks free of debris.
- Maintains all work areas clean and orderly.
- Must be able to work in an extremely cold environment.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
