Bag Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Pactiv Evergreen -  - Responsibilities:
Continuously perform all required tasks in a safe manner, adhering to all established safety rules and procedures;
Check bags for quality defects off the machine, do all quality checks and paper-work as per Quality Policy;
Follow all quality policies and procedures;
Must comply with all good manufacturing practices;
Safely and efficiently change roll, make splice by hand, maneuver roll into position, adhere roll to web on machine, and adjust paper rolls;
Start, stop and monitor bag machinery and ensure it is running at the budgeted machine speed;
Thread paper through machine smoothly as required;
Package bags as specified;
Ensure correct quantities of bags are being placed on the press;
Report machine adjustments and repairs that are required to Machine tender, Adjuster and/or Supervisor;
Submit accurate production reports daily and timely;
Meet/achieve safety, quality, production waste and housekeeping goals set forth by management;
Performs other duties as assigned
