• Assignment Type: Travel Nurse (NICU RN / neonatal nurse)
• Start Date: January 26, 2026
• End Date: April 27, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7p-7a) — night shift neonatal nursing
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Minimum 6 weekend shifts per month (Friday–Sunday)
• Unit Size: 10 NICU beds, 8 Stepdown beds
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,570 - $1,650 (competitive pay for travel nursing)
• Dress Code: Royal Blue scrubs

• Active RN license (Texas or compact state) — valid Registered Nurse license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in a Level III or IV NICU
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• STABLE certification
• Proficiency with EMR systems (CPN/Meditech preferred) — strong documentation skills
• Ability to float to Newborn Nursery as needed
• Strong teamwork, communication, and proactive attitude in neonatal care

• Provide high-quality neonatal care to critically ill infants in a Level III/IV NICU setting
• Monitor and manage patients using advanced neonatal equipment (HFNC, ventilators, SiPAP, HFOV, central lines, feeding pumps, IV pumps)
• Collaborate with neonatologists and multidisciplinary providers on procedures such as intubations, chest tubes, PICC lines, and central lines
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems (electronic medical records)
• Support and educate families throughout the NICU stay — family-centered neonatal nursing
• Float to Newborn Nursery as needed and assist with transitional care
• Follow unit guidelines, hospital policies, and dress code
