- Assignment Type: Travel Nurse (NICU RN / neonatal nurse)

- End Date: April 27, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7p-7a) — night shift neonatal nursing
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: Minimum 6 weekend shifts per month (Friday–Sunday)
- Unit Size: 10 NICU beds, 8 Stepdown beds
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,570 - $1,650 (competitive pay for travel nursing)
- Dress Code: Royal Blue scrubs
- Active RN license (Texas or compact state) — valid Registered Nurse license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in a Level III or IV NICU
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- STABLE certification
- Proficiency with EMR systems (CPN/Meditech preferred) — strong documentation skills
- Ability to float to Newborn Nursery as needed
- Strong teamwork, communication, and proactive attitude in neonatal care
- Provide high-quality neonatal care to critically ill infants in a Level III/IV NICU setting
- Monitor and manage patients using advanced neonatal equipment (HFNC, ventilators, SiPAP, HFOV, central lines, feeding pumps, IV pumps)
- Collaborate with neonatologists and multidisciplinary providers on procedures such as intubations, chest tubes, PICC lines, and central lines
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems (electronic medical records)
- Support and educate families throughout the NICU stay — family-centered neonatal nursing
- Float to Newborn Nursery as needed and assist with transitional care
- Follow unit guidelines, hospital policies, and dress code
