TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Brownsville, Texas.

Job Description & Requirements

• As an ER Travel Nurse, evaluate, triage and implement care following physician instructions in a fast-paced, urgent and emergency environment.
• Perform minor medical operations, advise patients and family on illnesses or injuries, and plan long-term care needs.
• Document medical history, check patient allergies, obtain vital signs, and monitor patients' emotional and physical well-being.
• Provide basic bedside care, clean and bandage wounds, provide IV therapy, maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
• Stand and walk for long periods; able to lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds in some cases) and perform tasks in a high-stress environment.
