Full Time, Days. This position may qualify for a sign‑on bonus. The RN will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis and at the unit level. The RN is responsible for supervising staff to whom care is delegated, supporting the CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management.
Responsibilities- The RN provides high‑quality, safe, cost‑effective total nursing care to all patients.
- The RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process.
- The RN directs care according to established standards of safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control with the goal of discharging the patient with an optimum level of care.
- Assumes responsibility for coordination and planning of patient care within the prescribed medical regime. Administers all medications safely and in a timely manner per hospital policy.
- Performs and fulfills all HICS (hospital incident command system) responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles as directed and needed by the facility in times of emergency and/or disaster.
- Responsible for knowing the Hospital’s emergency codes, including the purpose and appropriate action for each, and adheres to the Hospital policies and procedures for each emergency code.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required). Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Experience: Recent acute care experience (preferred).
- Certifications: Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice in the state of practice; AHA BLS required; AHA ACLS, PALS, or NRP as applicable per corporate policy.
