Licensed Vocational Nurse

Job Summary

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) at HCA Healthcare, you will deliver safe, high-quality patient-centered care while collaborating with managers, nurses, and hospital councils to influence nursing practice and patient outcomes.

• Provide focused nursing care for patients with complex needs, administering medications, managing lines or drains, and assisting with interventions such as cardiac monitoring or respiratory support.
• Closely observe patients for subtle changes in status—including heart rhythm, oxygen levels, or neurological signs—and promptly raise concerns for early intervention.
• Document timely, accurate updates to help the care team coordinate effectively in a high-acuity environment.
• Help patients and families understand complex conditions and recovery steps with clarity and comfort.
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and specialists to stabilize patients and guide them through the transition from intensive care to recovery.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• LPN/LVN license.
• Graduation from an approved vocational school.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; no travel required.
