This full‑time role provides direct clinical patient care and may qualify for a sign‑on bonus. The RN will assess, plan, implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per‑shift basis and oversee staff delegation, ensuring high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.
Responsibilities- Provide high‑quality, safe, cost‑effective, total nursing care to all patients.
- Assume responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process.
- Direct care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, and Infection Control, with the goal of discharging the patient with an optimum level of care.
- Coordinate and plan patient care within the prescribed medical regime.
- Administer all medications safely and in a timely manner per hospital policy.
- Perform and fulfill all HICS responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles as directed for emergency and/or disaster situations.
- Know the Hospital’s emergency codes, including purpose and appropriate action for each, and adhere to Hospital policies and procedures.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required). Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Experience: Recent acute care experience (preferred).
- Certifications: Current license or registration to practice nursing in the state; AHA BLS required; AHA ACLS, PALS, NRP as applicable by unit of hire.
