Parts Counter Salesperson

We are seeking a Parts Counter Salesperson to join our team at Payne Brownsville. The Parts Counter Salesperson will be responsible for assisting customers in finding the right parts for their vehicles, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales in the parts department.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in automotive parts sales or a related field preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy in processing orders
• Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories is a plus
• Proficiency in computer systems and point of sale software

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist them in identifying and purchasing the correct parts for their vehicles
• Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers
• Process parts orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintain accurate inventory records and organize parts on shelves
• Handle customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner
• Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely delivery of parts
• Meet sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the parts department
• Keep up to date on new products and promotions in the automotive industry
