Job Summary
Our client, a leading aerospace manufacturer, is hiring an experienced Fluids Technician to support a high-volume vehicle production facility. In this hands-on role, you will assemble, install, and troubleshoot the fluid and pneumatic systems that keep manufacturing and test operations moving. The right candidate combines strong pipe fitting, wiring, and mechanical abilities with a commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities
  • Work from planning documents, schematics, datasheets, manuals, drawings, blueprints, and engineering sketches.
  • Diagnose and repair or replace worn or failed components on ground hardware, test equipment, and integration equipment.
  • Install, connect, and verify sensors such as pressure transducers and thermocouples.
  • Wire electrical ground support equipment and associated ground systems.
  • Carry out fluid and pneumatic system testing to confirm integrity and performance.
  • Fabricate and install fluid system hardware from drawings, including ball valves, check valves, pressure regulators, and gauges.
  • Lay out, assemble, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify wiring in electronics racks and junction boxes.
  • Perform welding for the construction and repair of structural stands and site fixtures in a safe, professional manner.
  • Resolve operational issues during fluid and mechanical system activation to limit downtime.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience using mechanical and electronic hand tools.
  • 3+ years of pipe fitting and fabrication experience.
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Experience welding, troubleshooting, and maintaining fluid and mechanical systems.
  • Skilled in laying out, building, testing, and modifying wiring and electronic systems.
  • Comfortable with calibrated measuring instruments and heavy equipment such as overhead cranes, forklifts, and manlifts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred qualifications include an associate or bachelor's degree in a technical or related field, prior experience in a launch vehicle, propulsion, or high-pressure test environment, and a background in orbital or structural welding or machining. Former military aviation technicians (propulsion or airframe) are encouraged to apply. This is an opportunity to contribute to advanced aerospace hardware with a growing, well-established team.
