Overview
The Level I (L1) is an entry-level position responsible for performing basic labor tasks in support of terminal & stevedoring operations. Employees in this role are expected to carry out routine duties under close supervision, with increasing independence as they gain experience and familiarity with operational procedures. Learning basic tasks such as equipment handling, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures. Focused on developing foundational skills and understanding of work processes.

Qualifications- No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in outdoor and marine environments under varying weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety practices preferred.
- Placing and retrieving timbers on cargoes as needed (stickman)
- Perform general cleaning tasks on docks, in holds, or in operating areas
- Assisting with hooking on and unhooking cargoes on the vessel and terminal operations.
