A global enterprise technology company is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Java) for a full-time role based in Richardson, TX (2 days onsite). This team builds large-scale workforce management software used to optimize staffing, scheduling, and performance for high-volume customer operations. The environment includes Java (modernizing to Java 21), Angular 17, and emerging AI-assisted development tools.

RequiredSkills & Experience
- Strong experience with Java (Java 8+) in production environments
- Experience working within monolithic architectures
- Exposure to Angular (or modern front-end frameworks)
- Solid understanding of system design, performance, and scalability
- Experience building or contributing to enterprise applications
- Experience with AI/ML tools such as Copilot, Claude, or similar
- Exposure to large language models or AI agent development
- Experience with modernization efforts (e.g., upgrading Java versions)
- Background in workforce management, scheduling systems, or high-scale platforms
- Enhancing and maintaining a large-scale workforce management platform
- Contributing to backend services and system improvements
- Supporting modernization efforts from Java 8 to Java 21
- Collaborating on introducing AI-assisted development workflows
