Brownwood High School is a dynamic 4A campus located in the heart of Central Texas, serving approximately 850 students in grades 9-12. The campus is committed to academic excellence, extracurricular achievement, and fostering a culture of character and community. Brownwood High School offers a broad range of rigorous academic programs, including Advanced Placement (AP), dual credit, and Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways that prepare students for college, career, and military readiness.

Full Time

Direct and manage assigned areas of instructional program and campus operations. Oversee assigned student activities and services.

• Master’s degree
• Texas principal or other appropriate Texas certificate
• Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS)

• Knowledge of campus operations
• Working knowledge of curriculum and instruction
• Ability to evaluate instructional program and teaching effectiveness
• Ability to manage budget and personnel
• Ability to implement policy and procedures
• Ability to interpret data
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Two years experience as a classroom teacher

Depends on years of experience. Brownwood ISD Compensation Plan.
