Fine Arts & PE Teacher

Brown County Christian School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our faculty for the upcoming academic year. The ideal candidate will be a spiritually grounded Christian educator who is enthusiastic about teaching, building strong relationships with students, and integrating a biblical worldview into all aspects of instruction.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in the following subject areas:
  Fine Art (art, choir, or theater), Physical Education, Spanish I (preferred, but not required)
• Create a classroom culture of respect, excellence, and Christ-like character
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and styles of students
• Integrate biblical principles and Christian values into daily instruction and classroom interactions
• Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress, attendance, and behavior
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, and school administration
• Participate in faculty meetings, school functions, professional development, and spiritual enrichment opportunities
• Integrate prayer, scripture, and Christian values into daily instruction and classroom activities
• Maintain classroom management strategies that align with the school's values and expectations
• Participate in school events, faculty meetings, and professional development opportunities
• Uphold and model the mission, vision, and values of Brown County Christian School

• A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to Christian education
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Education, Art, Music, Theater, or a related field)
• Teaching certification (preferred but not required)
• Previous teaching experience in a secondary setting (preferred)
• Strong classroom management skills and a heart for discipleship
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to integrate faith into teaching in a meaningful and age-appropriate way
• Complete provided beginning of year CPR and First Aid certification
• Must pass a background check and meet all state and school requirements
