The psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric care on an extended observation unit treating adult patients experiencing mental health crises. The clinician will work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, serving as the primary psychiatric provider on the unit with responsibility for crisis stabilization interventions. The position involves managing a census of 8-16 patients with an average length of stay of 24 hours, requiring coordination with nursing staff and conducting patient handoffs with a nurse practitioner.
