Description:

Start date preferred within the next 3-5 weeks, but flexibility may be considered based on volume of needs.
May consider 48 hours/week.
The unit has an average of 1-5 patients daily with a staffing ratio of 2:1 on nights.
The facility has a Level II maternal care and Level II NICU.
Primary diagnoses include active labor, induction/augmentation of labor, and cesarean section deliveries.
Special procedures performed in the unit include amnioinfusion and external fetal monitoring.
The nurse will assist with vaginal deliveries and be involved in postpartum care and education for parents.
Basic skills required include starting and maintaining IVs, administering medications, and performing assessments.
Additional support available in the unit includes physical therapy, respiratory care, and social services.
Candidates must comply with all required screenings before starting.
Travel experience is preferred, and charting experience is a plus.
Candidates should avoid consumption of any substances that could lead to a positive drug screen.
