Description:

This is an urgent need for a Registered Nurse in a Medical Surgical setting.
Candidates should be available for 36 or 48 hours per week.
Those residing at least 50 miles from the facility may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Orientation is provided.
The unit sees an average daily census of 10-13 patients.
Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics with various diagnoses such as post-operative cases, orthopedic conditions, diabetes, pneumonia, and wound care.
Registered Nurses will be responsible for managing and executing comprehensive patient care.
Candidates should have experience with renal failure management, pre/post hemodialysis, interpretation of arterial blood gases, and various medical procedures including colostomy care, feeding tube management, and wound care.
Compliance with drug screening protocols is required.
Travelers should be prepared for laboratory requirements and must have an active nursing license upon submission.
Candidates are expected to maintain high standards of patient care in a supportive interdisciplinary environment.
