Description:

Urgent need for a registered nurse in a medical-surgical unit.
Consideration for 36 or 48 hours per week.
Candidates residing at least 50 miles from the facility may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Patient ratios are 5:1 for days, nights, and weekends.
Weekend shifts are required, totaling 6 weekend shifts over a 6-week schedule.
The daily census consists of 10-13 patients.
The unit caters to adult and geriatric patients.
Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy.
Familiarity with charting systems is preferred.
Candidates must have experience with various nursing skills including, but not limited to, renal failure management, blood product administration, central line management, and wound care.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in patient care and an ability to work under pressure.
Compliance with drug screening policies upon arrival is mandatory.
Candidates are encouraged to maintain cleanliness in personal habits, including the avoidance of substances that may lead to a positive drug screen.
