Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

• Experience with Altera Digital Health a Harris Company is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >150 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program:
Vaya Workforce Solutions - Hendrick Medical Center and no current placement allowed at Program:
Vaya Workforce Solutions - Hendrick Medical Center.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Community Hospital Experience

• Short Stay- 23 hour Stay Unit, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)

Required Credentials:

• You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

• Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, which includes Marijuana. This drug screen is mandatory, and a positive result is an automatic cancellation, no exceptions. Even after completing drug screen for clearance, candidate should avoid anything that could result in a positive DS when they arrive onsite (including CBD products).

• Drivers License/State  Issued Photo .

Shift & Scheduling:

• 36 or 48 hours/week considered

• Call Requirement:
One shift per 6 week schedule

• Weekend Coverage:
Every other

• Number of Weekend Shifts per

Contract:

6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule (sat/sun is a weekend shift)

7 days maximum time off

2 references from last 3 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
