Travel Cath Lab​/EP Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 2+ years of cardiac cath lab experience and ARRT or RCIS certification.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the cath lab service line required
• ARRT (R) or RCIS certification required; CCI RCES and CET certifications preferred
• Current ACLS and BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Skills required include left and right heart catheterization, PCI, permanent and temporary pacemaker insertion, EKG lead placement, stent placement, and thrombolysis/thrombectomy
• Experience with X-ray equipment required
• Altera charting system experience preferred but not required

• Cath Lab setting performing left/right heart catheterizations, PCI, peripheral procedures, device placement, and renal cases
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• Hours may vary slightly based on patient scheduling
• Call requirement of 12-15 days per month
• Travel experience strongly preferred
• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana testing, and a positive result results in automatic cancellation
• Candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could result in a positive drug screen
• Previous facility staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates are not accepted for this position
• Clinicians must complete required lab work within 72 hours of accepting the offer or have a documented plan for completion
• Orientation includes non-billable modules averaging 6-8 hours
