- Maintain, repair, and protect assets in the 3M Brownwood facility.
- Collaborate with engineering and production personnel during troubleshooting, modification, fabrication, machining, welding, and repair of plant utility and process equipment.
- Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial manufacturing equipment such as drives, motors, pumps, overhead hoists, boilers, compressors, rotary equipment, air handling equipment, and plant process/support equipment.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment, AC/DC electrical systems, PLCs, HMIs, motors, controls, VFDs, and related equipment.
- Assist in developing plans to correct equipment deficiencies and determine long‑term solutions to improve reliability.
- Complete additional duties as assigned, including willingness to work overtime, various shifts, and to be on‑call.
- At least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma, GED, or higher from an accredited institution.
- Four (4) years of industrial maintenance experience in a multi‑craft mechanical/electrical or controls maintenance position.
- Two (2) year technical degree/diploma in a multi‑craft technology program.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing motors, pumps, web handling systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, drive systems, valves, brakes, and clutches in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with electro‑mechanical equipment such as pumps, AC/DC motors, motor drives, PLC troubleshooting.
- Advanced troubleshooting and repair experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Experience with industrial lasers.
- Strong problem‑solving and computer skills.
- Availability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and on a slow‑rotating shift.
