Kohler seeks a Manufacturing & Process Engineer to drive safety, quality, and efficiency in our manufacturing operations. You will analyze and optimize production processes, apply Lean and continuous improvement methods, and lead root-cause problem solving. Partnering with cross-functional teams, you'll support new product introductions, equipment selection, line layout, and process documentation. In Kohler's craftsmanship- and innovation-driven culture, you'll leverage data, automation, and sustainable practices to enhance performance and deliver best-in-class products worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes for safety, quality, cost, and throughput.
- Implement Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and variability.
- Develop and update process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for quality and production issues.
- Collaborate with design, maintenance, and operations teams on new product and process introductions.
- Support equipment selection, layout, and line balancing to improve efficiency.
- Monitor key performance indicators and use data to drive decision making.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Train operators and technicians on new processes and best practices.
- Support implementation of automation and advanced manufacturing technologies.
