Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities- Work in the Med/Surg Tele unit of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule with 3 twelve-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- 13-week contract assignment
- Altera EMR is used; experience preferred but not required
- Completion of orientation modules (6-8 hours average) is required during orientation
- Travel nurse experience is preferred
- Facility will consider candidates who live at least 150 miles away on a case by case basis
- References from two supervisors within the last 3 years are required for consideration
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Previous permanent staff must be gone at least 1 year to return as a traveler
- Must comply with a mandatory drug screen upon arrival, including testing for Marijuana and CBD products
- Clinicians must be available to complete necessary labs within 72 hours of offer acceptance
