Job Summary:
Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical setting, ensuring safety, comfort, and effective treatment delivery. Demonstrate clinical competence and adhere to facility policies to support optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient conditions and monitor vital signs regularly.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Document patient care activities accurately using preferred charting systems.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and modify care plans.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies during shifts.
- Maintain compliance with travel and licensing requirements, including drug screening protocols.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid RN or LVN license and submit license verification upon application.
- Possess at least 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical setting.
- Be knowledgeable in clinical best practices and safety standards.
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Maintain current certifications relevant to the role, with verification available.
- Be willing to perform duties requiring flexibility for on-call and weekend shifts.
