- Shift/Hours: Standard daytime hours; additional hours as needed based on project milestones
- Pay Range: $95,000 – $130,000+ depending on experience, clearance level, and project portfolio

Overview
A well‑established federal construction contractor is seeking a Federal Quality Control (QC) Manager to oversee QC procedures on complex government and military construction projects. This person will play a critical role ensuring all work meets contract specifications, regulatory requirements, and client expectations. The QC Manager will work directly with project leadership to conduct inspections, review submittals, document compliance, and support successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject‑matter expert on all quality requirements across definable features of work.
- Partner closely with the Project Manager, Superintendent, and Project Engineer to maintain adherence to contract specifications.
- Review project submittals for accuracy and compliance with drawings, specs, and directives.
- Produce detailed written QC reports documenting work quality, compliance status, and corrective actions.
- Verify that incoming materials align with approved submittals and are properly stored, handled, and installation‑ready.
- Document code inspections, third‑party inspections, and all required compliance activities.
- Conduct daily on‑site inspections and produce follow‑up reports as needed.
- Prepare and manage pre‑punch and punch lists and validate completion.
- Document final inspections, certificates of occupancy, and acceptance milestones.
- Assist the Project Engineer with maintaining accurate as‑built drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or similar field.
- 3–5+ years of QC or project experience supporting federal or military construction projects.
- Experience with USACE, NAVFAC, or similar federal/military project environments strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting projects $20M+ in scope/budget.
- Must be clearable (ability to obtain a federal security clearance).

- Strong tenure with prior employers (minimal job hopping).
- Proven track record of supporting projects from kickoff through closeout.
- Outgoing, confident communication style with ability to partner across multiple levels and disciplines.
