Job Summary

This position is responsible for assisting in the administrative operations of the Office of Admissions & Recruitment including data and/or document processing, recordkeeping and updates, quality assurance and control efforts, integrity functions, testing, imaging, and customer service.

Responsibilities
  • 1 - Performs complex technical duties of processing of applications, transcripts, test scores, and other required documents.
  • 2 - Responsible for maintaining admissions records by scanning and digitally indexing all information received for applicant files and entering data from CRM into student information system and document imaging system.
  • 3 - Monitors inquiries, files and databases efficiently and effectively to ensure that all tasks completely accurately and efficiently and students files are moved through the admissions process.
  • 4 - Assist in processing of residency determinations; review and process documents such as lawful presence, immigration documentation, visas and Permanent Resident documents.
  • 5 - Maintains correspondence with applicants to encourage completion of all admission requirements.
  • 6 - Responds to emails and requests for information while staying current on all federal, state, USG, and institutional policies as it relates to admissions and enrollment.
  • 7 - Collaborates with other offices as needed; participates in outreach and recruitment events.
  • 8 - Performs related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications Educational Requirements
  • -High school diploma or equivalent
Required Experience
  • -More than one year of related experience
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities KNOWLEDGE
  • -Knowledge of student information systems.
  • -Knowledge of admissions guidelines and procedures.
  • -Knowledge of Residency guidelines.
  • -Knowledge of student classifications and requirements.
SKILLS
  • -Skill in computer operations.
  • -Skill in oral and written communications
