Overview
RQ Construction, LLC is seeking a Construction Superintendent to join the field Operations team for projects based at Kings Bay Naval Base in Georgia and surrounding locations. The position requires full-time, on-site supervision on an active military installation. Preference will be given to candidates already residing in the area; relocation assistance may be considered.
Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day field operations for assigned projects, including managing subcontractors and field personnel, coordinating short and long-term schedules, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to contract documents, project specifications, drawings, and proposals.
- High school diploma or GED required
- College coursework or a degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent overseeing mid-sized construction projects
- At least 4 years of practical construction or trade-related experience required
- Demonstrated ability to manage scheduling, procurement, field operations, safety compliance, quality assurance, and production throughout all phases of construction
- Prior experience with government, military, or major commercial construction projects strongly preferred, especially within design-build or large-scale project environments
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and standard computer software
- Knowledge of Primavera P3/P6, Viewpoint, BIM, or Revit preferred
- CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30, EM-385, and STS certifications required (training may be provided if necessary)
- Bilingual English/Spanish abilities are a plus
- LEED Green Associate (GA) or Accredited Professional (AP) certification preferred
$110,000 - $150,000 per year
