This is a full-time on-site role based in Brunswick, Georgia, for an Audio Visual (AV) Technician. The role involves the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of AV systems, including projectors, lighting, and video conferencing equipment. The Technician will ensure technical support for meetings, classroom activities, and events while managing and staging AV equipment to ensure optimal performance and usability. Collaboration with staff and faculty to fulfill AV needs is an essential part of this role.
Qualifications- Experience with setup, maintenance, and operation of Audio Visual (AV) Systems and related equipment
- Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues related to audio-visual equipment
- Knowledge of video conferencing systems and their implementation
- Skills in handling projectors and lighting systems for events and presentations
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in an educational institution or event support environment is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in AV equipment and systems are preferred
