Job Summary

The College of Coastal Georgia Department of Mathematics and Data Science seeks qualified applicants for the position of Part‑Time Lecturer in the area of Mathematics. Applicants will be reviewed on a continuing basis and hiring may occur up to the start date of a given semester.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Mathematics courses contingent to the needs of the College.
  • Maintain office hours and prepare lesson plans, lectures, and other course materials such as quizzes and exams.
  • Complete required trainings and teach at the Brunswick campus, Camden Center, or other approved sites in face‑to‑face, hybrid, or online formats.
  • Submit grades and attendance reports.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to high‑quality instruction and student success.
Required Qualifications
  • Successful completion of at least 18 graduate hours in mathematics.
  • Successful undergraduate teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MS or PhD in Mathematics or related fields with at least 18 graduate credit hours in mathematics.
  • Experience with online teaching.
Proposed Salary

$700 per credit hour for Masters‑prepared courses and $900 per credit hour for Doctorate‑prepared courses.
