Job Summary

This is a 19.5 hours per week maximum, part-time student position. This position requires employees who are able to positively represent this Office and the College to various internal and external constituents with a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
The student employee must have effective writing, verbal communication, and Microsoft Office skills. Student employees must have a high level of integrity as they may come into contact with confidential information. The student will participate in required training and must have basic lab skills. The student will assist in preparing labs, clean equipment and laboratories, run errands, and assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
The weekly schedule will be assigned by the supervisor in conjunction with the student's class schedule. The work schedule is subject to change between semesters or as needed. Students are not to work during scheduled class time, even if class is cancelled or dismissed early.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in lab preparation (will not handle any hazardous/toxic materials)
  • Clean equipment and laboratories (will not handle any hazardous/toxic materials)
  • Run errands at the discretion of the supervisor
  • Assist with special projects
  • Perform any related work as required
Required Qualifications Educational Requirements
  • Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at all times
  • Must be a Science Major

Proposed Salary

$9.00 per hour
