Part Time Instructor of Environmental Science
The College of Coastal Georgia Department of Natural Sciences seeks qualified applicants for the part time applicant pool for Part Time Instructor of Environmental Science. This is an applicant pool for teaching in the School of Arts & Sciences. Applicants will be reviewed on an as-needed basis and hiring may occur up to the start date of a given semester.
Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will teach Environmental Science and/or Geology courses (lecture and/or laboratory) contingent to their expertise and the needs of the College. Essential duties include: maintaining office hours, preparing lesson plans, lectures, and other course materials such as quizzes and exams, and submission of final grades and attendance reports.
Required Qualifications - M.S. in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Environmental or Earth Sciences Required Experience
- Successful teaching experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field
Preferred Experience
- Successful teaching experience at the undergraduate level
