Position: Aircraft Maintenance Technician IV A&P - Brunswick *Second Shift*

Aircraft Maintenance Technician IV A&P – Brunswick (Second Shift)

Position

Purpose:

Perform various technical functions of aircraft maintenance, repair, replacement, and modification of key aircraft components to ensure proper operation. Perform aircraft maintenance and troubleshooting requiring high precision and skill.

Essential Functions
  • Maintain and service all aircraft mechanical systems, including airframes, engine components, landing gear, electrical components, and control systems.
  • Repair, install, and troubleshoot mechanical and functional components of the aircraft.
  • Coordinate with inspections to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection and documentation requirements.
  • Complete work order sign-offs, shift turnovers, and other paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.
  • Identify (tag) customer property and equipment, and store aircraft components and other customer property securely.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and JSAs when operating ground support equipment.
  • Operate and oversee use of special support equipment used for removal and installation of major components.
  • Coordinate with other departments to arrange overhaul or repair of customer property as needed.
Additional Functions
  • Apply 6S and Lean initiatives to keep shops, hangars, and aircraft work areas clean.
  • Use and maintain company‑provided tools and equipment properly.
  • Coordinate movement of aircraft as required.
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, Repair Station and Quality Control manuals, and company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • At least 6 years of aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical).
  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Must work second shift.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Experience with Gulfstream large cabin aircraft (GIV, G450, GV, G550) and mechanical, structural, and electrical knowledge of airframes highly desired.
Other Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures for various aircraft models and systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of pertinent technical reference materials (maintenance manuals, IPCs, Service Bulletins, structural repair manuals, engineering drawings, ADS, etc.).
