ATS is seeking a Resident Inspector for API and NDT related work for Brunswick, GA. This is a full‑time position with an average of 45 hours per week. No per diem, no lodging. Relocation assistance/incentive available. Immediate opening.
Responsibilities- Perform field inspections of industrial equipment (storage tanks, pressure vessels, and piping systems).
- Generate written reports utilizing MS Word and MS Excel.
- Manage projects ranging from $5,000 to $100,000.
- Manage client relationships and work with inspectors, effectively communicating work progress and status with clients.
- 3+ years of experience in Mechanical Integrity in the pulp and paper industry.
- Must hold at least API 510/653.
- Additional NDT/API certifications are a plus.
- AutoCAD and/or Compress experience preferred.
- High School Diploma;
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.

- Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
- Work from heights on scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man‑baskets, etc.
- Work in confined spaces which will require crawling, stooping, climbing, etc.
- Work around operating equipment and industrial environments.
- Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, film developing chemicals, etc.
- Work shifts up to 12 hours per day, 7 days per week and travel for extended periods of time.
