Data Analyst, Data Entry
Company: Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation.
Job Title: Tech Data Associate – GAC Brunswick.
Candidate must be able to physically split time between Brunswick and Savannah locations.
Education and Experience RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED required. Associate's Degree preferred. Six years working in an office administrative function supporting data management initiatives. High proficiency with office software packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with project planning software preferred. Prior Gulfstream Aerospace experience highly preferred.
Position PurposeUnder minimal supervision, generates advanced reports and documents and oversees the control and release of technical data. Primary responsibilities include gathering, organizing, generating, processing and supporting data and information.
Job DescriptionPrinciple Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supports project leaders/management by assuming leadership role in the creation of data packages/reports.
- Utilizing an understanding of technical data, makes recommendations to ensure documentation/reports are prepared in accordance with approved procedures.
- Leads cross-functional activities associated with assembling technical presentation material for internal and/or external customers.
- Recommends solutions and exercises creativity and initiative to remove system/process roadblocks to ensure completion of activities within established schedules.
- Maintains and coordinates technical data to support internal/external customers and/or document/work packages.
- Routinely interacts with senior management as the functional data point of contact.
- Works with internal and external customers to identify, research and resolve data integrity issues.
- Assists in the development of manuals and training materials for the function.
- Assists in directing supplier, customer, and/or industry presentation sessions.
- Mentors team members and provides guidance in achieving goals and completing department initiatives.
- Prepares and presents performance reports, graphs, and charts to report status on new issues, processes, and/or initiatives.
Additional Functions:
- Participates on work teams when required to achieve department goals and improve processes.
- Maintains a current and up-to-date knowledge of technical developments within the given function/discipline.
- Works directly with internal and external customers to build strong working relationships while maintaining a high level of quality.
Other Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, details and priorities, under extremely tight deadlines and schedules, with ease.
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job; work is performed in an office environment mostly in a sitting position with infrequent lifting of 10-15 pounds.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to present information in a group setting.
- Strong organization and analytical skills to solve process/system problems with little direction.
- This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
