Job Summary

This position is responsible for administrative support, leading campus programming and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Intercultural Resource Center and the Veterans Lounge. This is a grant funded position. This position is designated as Campus Security Authority (CSA).

Responsibilities

- * Design, execute, and assess campus programs that promote student belonging

- * Advise student groups

- * Manage the Intercultural Resource Center and the Veterans Lounge

- * Support supervision of Ameri Corp Vista Team

- * Supervise, train, and evaluate student employees

- * Assist with paperwork and documentation for budget fiscal management of department

- * Serve as office liaison for campus committees

- * Performs related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements

* Baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field

Other

Required Qualifications

* Must possess a current valid driver license with acceptable driving record and pass a yearly Motor Vehicle Report review.

Required Experience

* More than one year experience in event planning

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Educational Qualifications

* Masters degree in a course of study related to the occupational field

Preferred Experience

* More than one year working in higher education or K12 environment

Proposed Salary

$44,050 per year

* Ability to exercise sound judgment, make reasoned decisions and work collaboratively with others toward common goals.

KNOWLEDGE

* Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures.

* Knowledge of college and departmental policies and procedures.

* Knowledge of computers and job-related software programs.

SKILLS

* Skill in prioritizing and organizing work.

* Skill in the use of such office equipment as a computer, scanner, fax machine, and copier.

* Skill in oral and written communication.

* Skill in interpersonal relations and in dealing with the public.

* Skill in event planning.
