Weekend Shift

Friday - Sunday, 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM*

Role Overview

As an NDT Level II Technician
, you will ensure the integrity of welds and assemblies through non‑destructive testing and accurate inspection records. You will work closely with Quality, Manufacturing, and Production Control to verify compliance with engineering and contractual requirements and support successful system delivery.

Success Criteria
  • Perform VT, PT, and MT inspections in accordance with drawings and specifications, verifying dimensional compliance using standard tools.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, audit‑ready inspection records, supporting full traceability and product acceptance.
  • Audit welding procedures, confirm qualifications, and ensure equipment calibration while collaborating with manufacturing to resolve issues without compromising quality.
  • Support ISO 9001 efforts, maintain NDT equipment, and contribute to safe, compliant operations.
  • Develop into additional inspection disciplines and pursue advanced certifications.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • At least 2 years of inspection experience in a welding/fabrication environment
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret engineering fabrication and assembly drawings
  • Valid NDT Level II certifications in the VT, MT & PT methods
  • Proficiency with hand measuring/layout tools (tape measure, combination square, level)
  • Basic math skills (addition/subtraction of fractions)
  • U.S. Person
Preferred Qualifications
  • Navy inspection experience (Tech Pub/278 and/or MIL‑STD‑1689)
  • Proficiency with advanced measurement/layout tools (transit/optic level, micrometers, CMM)
