Are you a manufacturing leader who enjoys building teams, driving accountability, and keeping production running safely and efficiently? At Jered, a PAR Systems Company and leader in engineered solutions for naval and maritime systems, we design and manufacture critical shipboard equipment that supports the U.S. Navy and fleet readiness efforts around the world.

Jered is seeking a Weekend Manufacturing Supervisor to lead the launch and operation of a new weekend shift at our Brunswick, Georgia facility. This is a unique opportunity to help build a shift from the ground up while supporting the fabrication, paint, and mechanical assembly of complex engineered-to-order equipment. In this role, you will provide leadership to manufacturing employees, ensure production goals are achieved safely and efficiently, and serve as a critical link between weekend and weekday operations.

Success requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to solve problems quickly in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Your success will be measured by your ability to establish and lead a high‑performing weekend manufacturing operation that consistently delivers on safety, quality, schedule, and productivity objectives. During your first several months, you will become fully integrated into Jered’s manufacturing operations through hands‑on training and collaboration with leaders across the business. As the weekend operation is implemented, you will play a key role in recruiting, developing, and leading the team while creating effective communication and continuity between shifts.

Strong performance includes maintaining a safe and organized work environment, effectively managing labor and production priorities, resolving manufacturing challenges with urgency, and ensuring products move through fabrication, paint, and assembly operations according to schedule and quality expectations. You will be expected to lead by example, drive accountability, support continuous improvement initiatives, develop employee capabilities through coaching and training, and foster a culture built on teamwork, ownership, and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of supervisory, leadership, or manufacturing management experience
  • Experience leading teams in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business software applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
  • Experience in engineered‑to‑order, high‑mix, low‑volume manufacturing environments preferred
  • Experience supporting fabrication, welding, paint, machining, or mechanical assembly operations preferred
  • U.S. Person
