Purpose Statement

Maintain and upkeep the general cleaning and housekeeping of all non-production equipment and areas of the plant by performing certain assigned tasks and in assigning housekeepers to clean and sanitize various areas according to shift and needs.

  • Cleaning plant smocks, shoe covers, aprons, glove liners and lab coats on shift. Ensures that an adequate number of smocks are available for the shift.
  • Operating the laundry room equipment as needed.
  • Inventorying plant smocks.
  • Maintaining chemicals supplies in laundry room.
  • Maintaining soap and sanitizers levels at hand wash stations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Reading and number comprehension skills.
  • Proven ability to motivate, train, schedule manage and troubleshoot issues with a team.
  • Janitorial experience preferred.
  • Ability to crawl, kneel and bend.
  • Ability to work at height, climb stairs and ladders.
  • Ability to lift 55 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for 6 or more hours.
