Position: Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job

Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery in Brunswick, Georgia. Travel - temporary assignment starting 06/29/2026 for 13 weeks. Earn $1,996-$2,011 per week. Schedule consists of 12-hour daytime shifts, three days per week (36 hours total). Work in a hospital setting as a travel nurse on an obstetric care team, with responsibilities that include perioperative and PACU care.

Responsibilities
  • Triage obstetric patients and coordinate with the care team to determine immediate needs and priorities
  • Circulate during labor, delivery, and procedures as assigned; support the anesthesia and obstetrics teams as needed
  • Recover and provide post‑anesthesia care in PACU, including monitoring vitals, managing pain control, and ensuring patient safety
  • Monitor fetal status and respond to emergencies in collaboration with the obstetric team
  • Document nursing assessments and interventions accurately in the electronic health record; participate in handoffs and discharge planning
Requirements
  • Active RN license in Georgia (or appropriate multi‑state licensure) and eligibility to practice in the assignment location
  • Education:

    Nursing degree from an approved program (ASN/BSN or higher accepted)
  • Experience in Labor & Delivery and/or PACU; ability to perform triage, circulate, and recovery duties in PACU per job notes
  • Ability to work 12‑hour daytime shifts; available to cover 3 shifts per week (36 hours)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast‑paced obstetric setting and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
