Description

Lead a Nursing Program. Launch Healthcare Careers.

Healthcare needs skilled, compassionate professionals — and you'll be the one who prepares the next generation. As RN / CNA Program Coordinator, you'll lead the Center's Certified Nursing Assistant training program, delivering quality, industry-recognized instruction and credentials that open doors to full-time jobs, higher education, the military, or advanced training.

This is a role for a registered nurse who's ready to lead: someone who pairs clinical expertise with a passion for teaching, mentoring, and building the partnerships that turn students into credentialed, employable healthcare professionals.

Why Join Us? Make a Real Impact!

Job Corps is a transformative program that provides education, vocational training, and career readiness to young adults. In this role, you'll shape the CNA training experience end to end — from curriculum and clinical instruction to credentialing and placement — helping students launch meaningful careers in one of the fastest-growing fields. You may also serve as Health & Wellness Director where permitted under local state practice law.

What You'll Do

Lead the CNA Training Program

Provide oversight and management of the Career Technical Training Nursing department and the C.N.A. Training Program. Deliver program curricula and clinical instruction that meets or exceeds all State Board of Nursing standards for Nursing Assistants, ensure all C.N.A. instructors meet Board qualifications, and ensure the program satisfies all State Board of Nursing requirements and federal clinical-facility requirements under 42 CFR 483.151.

Ensure Compliance & Track Outcomes

Provide all required written reports and updates to the State Board of Nursing as applicable. Collect and maintain all data relating to student performance and outcomes, track and monitor program outcomes to ensure goals are met, and help the Center meet or exceed DOL/Company performance goals — all while ensuring strict confidentiality of sensitive information and integrity of student data.

Drive Student Success & Placement

Ensure each student receives comprehensive, individualized case management that promotes quality training, industry-recognized credential attainment, and job placement. Ensure instructors provide quality training and transitional support leading to placement, and provide high-quality supervision that positively influences student behavior with respect and accountability.

Build Partnerships & Align with Workforce Needs

Work with the Center's Workforce Council to align training with local workforce demands. Ensure CTT and WBL areas are represented by employers who meet with students to provide career guidance and placement opportunities, and ensure effective collaboration between CTT and WBL staff. Develop Center-beneficial community linkages and build meaningful relationships with elected officials that promote a positive image of the Center and Job Corps.

Lead Your Team & Collaborate

Assist in the supervision and management of the Wellness Services Department and subcontracted wellness services, including mental health, dental, and medical services. Interview and recommend candidates for hire, evaluate performance, fill vacancies promptly, provide training, and develop staff for career progression. Keep your area organized, clean, safe, and conducive to learning. Mentor and model the Career Success Standards, communicate clearly, resolve problems with sound judgment, partner across departments, and accept direction and other duties as assigned.
