Nursing Clinical Instructional Assistant
The School of Nursing and Health Science seeks dynamic Nursing Clinical Instructional Assistants to provide teaching and evaluations for small groups of nursing students in practice settings and simulated settings.
Responsibilities include making clinical student assignments, supervising clinical/laboratory practice experiences, evaluating clinical written assignments, evaluating student clinical performance and accomplishment of clinical objectives, adhering to Department of Nursing guidelines/protocols, attending scheduled Level meetings as needed, being able to travel, and performing related work as required.
Required qualifications include a current RN license in Georgia, a baccalaureate degree in Nursing, current health care provider CPR certification and immunizations, a current valid driver license with an acceptable driving record and passing a yearly Motor Vehicle Report review, and more than one year of recent clinical experience in nursing.
Preferred educational qualifications include a master's degree in Nursing.
Proposed salary is $40.00 per hour with a baccalaureate degree and $45.00 per hour with a master's degree.
