Job Responsibilities
Supervise and provide leadership to assigned staff at HIV care center. Provides professional nursing care in accordance with nurse protocols, policies and/or procedures. Responsible for QI plan/initiatives, daily operations, staffing and manage support for MD/APRN. Oversight for Immunization program, lab services, data management for HRSA deliverables.
Min starting salary-$74,758.00
- Manages and supervises assigned staff to include performance management, clinic staffing, etc
- Assess and evaluate client care, clinic flow and staff efficiency, while providing quality client care
- Consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate client care plans
- Observes nurses to ensure that proper nursing care is provided
- Provides professional nursing care in accordance with nurse protocols, policies and/or procedures.
- Focuses on the prevention of illness, injury, or disability, the promotion of health and maintenance of the health of populations.
- Cares for population with special needs during disasters/emergencies and biological and chemical protocols.
Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of nursing experience and completion of a PHN course within one (1) year of hire and current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license and CPR certification; or two (2) years of experience at the lower-level PH Registered Nurse 3 (HCP
192) or position equivalent
At least two years of previous RN experience in an outpatient HIV/AIDS treatment setting. Two or more years of experience as a Nurse Supervisor.
