Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer in a dynamic logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Fri 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM, Sat 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse, distribution, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, shipping and receiving areas, trailer yards, and/or parking locations while following post orders and reporting security-related issues, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.

• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
