Diesel Technician

The company is growing and welcomes a new Diesel Technician / Mechanic to join the world‑leading compact construction equipment team.

Salary: $29.00 – $34.00 per hour (DOE) plus efficiency bonus.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm.

• Conduct daily equipment and preventative maintenance inspections.
• Diagnose and repair all major systems on compact equipment, with emphasis on the Bobcat line.
• Perform system rebuilds and overhauls.
• Work effectively with all levels of the company – Parts, Service, Sales, Rental.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor.

• 2+ years’ experience in heavy or equipment service operations – skid steers, excavators, etc.
• Strong mechanical background with excellent skills in diagnostics, diesel mechanics, hydraulics, electrical.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, organized, energetic, and capable of staying calm under pressure from multiple ongoing projects.
• Computer skills.

• Frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
• Occasional exposure to various extreme conditions; work both indoors and outdoors.
• Noise level can be loud.
• Must communicate effectively with customers.
• Position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, laying, crawling, and climbing all day.
• Frequently lift and/or move items over 50lbs.
• Physical strain on muscles, joints, and tendons in arms, chest, shoulders, and back.
• Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
